Start A Peoples Cafe

New Venues:

If you don't already have ongoing Peoples Cafe gatherings in your city or town, and would like to get one started, please send an email here stating your interests

In addition to holding Peoples Cafes in commercial cafes, we would also like to convene them in alternative locations so that a more diverse population can partake of them. Additionally, we would like to make them available to more marginalized people, such as those in prisons, immigrants to the U.S., at schools with at-risk children, at homeless shelters, and with indigenous and non-English-speaking groups, to name a few. Please contact us if you'd like to organize one of these programs.

Alliances:

We are interested in forging visible alliances with other organizations directed towards building a democratic people's movement.

Organizations of interest will be politically non-partisan, and not affiliated with any one particular religious institution. Areas of focus can be very diverse, including social, economic, democracy-building, election-support, spirituality, gender, multi-ethnic or racial, humanitarian, environmental, technological, human or animal rights, etc.
